1912 Exiles #194: Undy Women & Cheltenham Empty 1912 Exiles #194: Undy Women & Cheltenham

A bonus episode for you, consisting of two halves:

  • Part 1 sees us sit down for a chat with Sarah and Paul from Undy AFC Women, who will be our local women's team in focus for the season. They tell us a bit about the team's background, what fans can expect if they come along to The Causeway to watch a game and their aspirations for the season. Give them a follow on Twitter or Facebook, and if you can do come and watch them at home to Wattsville FC Ladies (15 September) or Coed Duon Women FC (13 October).

  • Part 2 mainly consists of a match diary by Dave from the Football League Trophy match against Cheltenham on Tuesday night, and then Ed gives a brief mention of our #4QuestionPreview ahead of Port Vale on Saturday.

We won't have an episode this coming weekend - instead, we'll do a bumper edition covering Port Vale (H) and Sw*ndon (a) in detail. Holler if you're at both games and fancy being part of the panel.

As ever, you can contact us via Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn, and you can also buy a sticker pack if you want to support what we do. Thanks to Tinty & The Bucket Hats for letting us use Discoland as our theme tune, and thank YOU for listening.

In Ep194, we spoke to Sarah and Paul from Undy Women AFC, as part of our wider look at the health of football in South East Wales. We'll be keeping an eye on the team over the course of the season. In this clip, Paul and Sarah give their views on the rude health of the women's game locally, and Undy Women's aspirations for the season ahead.
